Wilderness Graphics was recently honored to receive the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Citizens Award, the highest recognition given to non-employees. At a ceremony held in the Senate Caucus Room, Director Jamie Rappaport Clark presented the award to Wilderness Graphics owners Lee and Marvin Cook. Other recipients were Charles Kuralt (posthumously) of CBS News, Cooperative Alliance for Refuge Enhancement, and Citizens Committee to Complete the (San Francisco Bay) Refuge. Senator Dirk Kempthorne sponsored the reception on the eve of the signing of legislation by President Bill Clinton to support a stronger National Wildlife Refuge System. Secretary of the Interior Bruce Babbitt and Floridas Senator Bob Graham also attended the presentation.
We've always said we love Refuges!
